Four Separate Contracts in a Hyperscale Data Center Project in Southern Finland

Kreate has long experience in carrying out data center projects and other confidential or security-classified projects for international operators. Between 2024 and 2025, Kreate executed four separate contracts for a hyperscale data center project located in the Uusimaa region.

Kreate was responsible for a “site enabling works” contract for an international operator as part of a data center project in Uusimaa. The works were carried out between April 2024 and October 2025.

A key part of the contract was the pre-construction of the approximately 10-hectare area of the future data center building, which included extensive earthworks and blasting, levelling the area, and the implementation of stormwater systems.

In addition, the scope included the construction of road connections leading to the plot and the implementation of electricity supply and telecom routes (telecom) as part of the street structure outside the campus. This included, among other things, two 150-metre-long D1000 directional drilling lines, into which communication pipelines were installed.

The contract also included the construction of three site base areas and a test stabilization field, planned and executed in cooperation with KFS Finland, where stabilization solutions for demanding ground conditions were developed.

The entirety formed a critical site enabling works package for the construction of the data center campus, which created a technical and scheduling foundation for future construction phases.

The project is confidential, and the image used in the project card is an illustration.
