We support sustainable development and deliver significant cost savings through better materials management in our projects. Among other things, we use power plant side streams to replace virgin aggregates. Furthermore, our different construction sites actively utilise the material streams that are generated in our other projects, which minimises waste and closes the circular economy loop. The circular economy played an important role in the Vantaa Kivistö urban centre project, for example, where we reused much of the concrete from dismantled bridges in the area.
Our operating model includes finding, offering and using solutions that support the circular economy. We execute the potential solutions proposed by the customers as requested, but we also actively look for other opportunities to further circular economy in infrastructure construction.
