Four separate Data Center Contracts in Kymenlaakso
Kreate has long experience in carrying out data center projects and other confidential or security-classified projects for international operators. Between 2014 and 2020, Kreate and its joint venture KFS Finland executed four separate contracts for a data center located in Kymenlaakso.
Kreate and its joint venture KFS Finland executed four separate contracts for an international operator at a server center campus located in Kymenlaakso. The work was suspended for a few years at the request of the client.
The contracts included the construction of the Day 1 site base, as well as the excavation of the server center and the crushing of the excavated rock. Furthermore, they involved the implementation of cast-in-place foundations and internal protective conduits for underground technical installations, such as electricity (MV, LV), fiber optics (Fiber), and water and sewage systems.
In addition to these, the contracts included the cast-in-place foundations for the Mechanical CUB building, as well as its internal protective conduits and risers for underground technical installations (water, sewers, protective conduits for fiber optic cables). The contract also included the construction of cast-in-place water basins for the cooling system, the concrete work for the LPP Campus cooling system’s seawater intake, and the internal underground protective conduits and foundations for the SSI building.
The project is a confidential project, and the image used in the project card is an illustration.
