Three separate Data Center Contracts in Kymenlaakso

Kreate and its joint venture KFS Finland executed three separate contracts for an international operator at a data center located in Kymenlaakso. The contracts were carried out during the periods January 2020 – March 2021 and February 2024 – December 2025.

The three contracts included DC general excavation and crushing, trench excavation, site preparation, establishment of the site base, and DC foundations.

In addition, Kreate implemented internal and external protective conduits for underground technical installations, such as electricity (MV, LV) and fiber optics (Fiber), water pipes, sewers with protective conduits, as well as radon pipework and layers. The contracts also involved the construction of external slabs, such as Gen yard slabs, temporary and final fences, paving, stormwater drains, retaining walls, and fire walls. Furthermore, internal concrete works for the Mech CUB building were implemented, including seawater basins and pipes.
