Infrastructure construction in the northern part of Lamminrahka continues in the third phase

Construction work on Phase 3 of the northern part of Lamminrahka began in April 2026 in Kangasala. This large-scale project, which is underway at multiple sites across a wide area, is part of the development of the Lamminrahka area, where a new neighborhood with approximately 8,000 residents and 1,000 jobs is being built on what was once forest and farmland.

In the third phase, we will build new streets as well as pedestrian and bicycle paths, creating a functional and safe transportation network for the area. Our project includes earthwork for park walkways and extensive public utility work. In addition to the water supply network, we are building new waste collection stations in the area, as well as the networks required by electricity and telecommunications operators. The project also includes finishing work in the southern part of Lamminrahka and the Lemmetty residential area, which will integrate the areas developed in different phases into a cohesive whole. In addition, we are building a noise barrier between National Road 12 and Lemmetty.

Phase 3 of the northern part of Lamminrahka continues the infrastructure development of the area, which Kreate has been carrying out as the main contractor. In the first phase of construction in the northern part of Lamminrahka, we launched the infrastructure development for the new neighbourhood, laying the groundwork for the area’s future growth.

The clients are the City of Kangasala and Kangasalan Vesi. The project will be completed by Kreate in November 2026.
